Day-by-Day Itinerary
Day 1 – Arrival in Tangier
Arrive in Tangier and meet your driver at the airport, port, or train station. Explore the old Kasbah, Caves of Hercules, and Cape Spartel, where the Atlantic meets the Mediterranean.
Stroll along the Corniche and enjoy seafood by the sea.
Overnight: Tangier riad.
Day 2 – Tangier → Chefchaouen
Drive through the Rif Mountains to Chefchaouen, Morocco’s famous Blue City. Wander its blue-washed alleys, visit small handicraft shops, and relax in Plaza Uta el-Hammam. Hike to the Spanish Mosque for sunset views over the medina.
Overnight: Chefchaouen riad inside the medina.
Day 3 – Chefchaouen → Volubilis → Meknes → Fes
Head south toward the Roman ruins of Volubilis, a UNESCO site with remarkably preserved mosaics and arches. Continue to Meknes, one of Morocco’s imperial cities, to see Bab Mansour Gate, El Hedim Square, and the mausoleum of Moulay Ismail.
Arrive in Fes, the oldest and most spiritual city in Morocco.

Day 4 – Guided Tour of Fes
Spend the day exploring Fes with a licensed local guide. Discover the Bou Inania Madrasa, the Nejjarine Fountain, the Chouara Tannery, and the vibrant Souk el-Attarine. Visit the Royal Palace Gate and end at the Borj Nord viewpoint for a panorama of the city’s thousands of rooftops.

Day 5 – Fes → Ifrane → Ziz Valley → Merzouga
After breakfast, drive south through the Middle Atlas Mountains. Stop in Ifrane, often called “Little Switzerland,” then in Azrou’s Cedar Forest to meet Barbary apes. Continue through Midelt and the palm-filled Ziz Valley, reaching Merzouga in the late afternoon.
Ride camels into the Erg Chebbi dunes for sunset and spend the night at your luxury Sahara camp.

Day 6 – Desert Adventure Day in Merzouga
Enjoy a slow breakfast under desert sun. Explore the region by 4×4:

Day 8 – Dades Valley → Ouarzazate → Aït Ben Haddou
Drive through rose fields and ancient kasbahs to Ouarzazate, visiting the Atlas Film Studios. Continue to Aït Ben Haddou, the UNESCO-listed fortress village where caravans once stopped on the Sahara-Marrakech trade route.
Overnight: Guesthouse in Aït Ben Haddou.
Day 9 – Aït Ben Haddou → High Atlas Mountains → Marrakech
Cross the Tizi n’Tichka Pass (2,260 m) with spectacular views of terraced valleys and Amazigh villages. Arrive in Marrakech by afternoon. Evening free to explore Jemaa el-Fnaa Square, full of storytellers, musicians, and food stalls.

Day 10 – Marrakech City Tour & Departure
