Day-by-Day Itinerary
Day 1 – Arrival in Marrakech
Arrive at Marrakech Menara Airport, meet your private driver, transfer to your riad in the medina. If time allows, explore the colourful souks, enjoy rooftop views of the red city walls, and sample local cuisine in Jemaa el-Fnaa square. Overnight in Marrakech.
Day 2 – Marrakech → Aït Ben Haddou → Ouarzazate → Dades Valley
Depart early, cross the High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n’Tichka Pass (approx. 2,260 m) with panoramic views of terraced villages. Visit the UNESCO-listed Aït Ben Haddou Kasbah, then continue to film-town Ouarzazate and onward through the “Valley of a Thousand Kasbahs” to the lush Dades Valley. Overnight at a charming kasbah hotel in Dades.
Day 3 – Dades Valley → Todra Gorge → Merzouga (Sahara Desert)
After breakfast, journey through dramatic landscapes to the Todra Gorge, where towering red cliffs flank the riverbed. Continue east toward the Sahara, arriving at Merzouga by late afternoon. Mount your camels for a sunset trek across the Erg Chebbi dunes, and spend the night in a luxury desert camp under starlit skies.
Day 4 – Full Desert Experience in Merzouga
Wake before dawn to capture sunrise over the dunes. After breakfast, explore the Sahara by 4×4: Visit Khamlia village (Gnawa music), nomad camps, fossil-strewn plains and oasis villages. Return to the camp for relaxation, sandboarding or simply enjoying the desert silence. Overnight again in the desert camp.
Day 5 – Merzouga → Ziz Valley → Midelt → Fes
Leave the desert behind and head north, passing through the majestic Ziz Valley, with its date-palm oases. Stop in Midelt, then traverse the Middle Atlas Mountains until you arrive in Fes, Morocco’s spiritual and cultural heart. Overnight in Fes.
Day 6 – Guided Full Day in Fes
Today you’ll have a full-day guided tour of Fes El Bali: the tanneries, Bou Inania Madrasa, Nejjarine Fountain, artisan quarters, and panoramic views from Borj Nord. Dinner in a riad, overnight in Fes.
Day 7 – Fes → Volubilis → Meknes → Rabat
Drive to the Roman ruins of Volubilis, then visit the imperial city of Meknes. Continue to the coastal capital, Rabat, for an evening stroll by the river and visit to the Kasbah of the Udayas. Overnight in Rabat.
Day 8 – Rabat → Casablanca
In the morning explore more of Rabat: Hassan Tower, Royal Palace, Oudayas. After lunch, drive to Casablanca, Morocco’s commercial hub. Visit the majestic Hassan II Mosque, built over the Atlantic. Overnight in Casablanca.
Day 9 – Casablanca to Marrakech (Optional) or Coastal Relaxation
Time in Casablanca to relax, shop or explore more deeply. Optionally take the afternoon/evening drive back toward Marrakech or remain in Casablanca for a coastal beach visit.
Day 10 – Free Day / Leisure in Casablanca or Marrakech
Leisure day — great for shopping, spa, optional cooking class, or simply relaxing. Overnight in your city of choice.
Day 11 – Departure from Casablanca
After breakfast, transfer to Casablanca Mohammed V Airport for your departure. End of tour.
