Day-by-Day Itinerary
Day 1 – Arrival in Tangier
Meet your private driver at Tangier Airport or Port. Visit the Kasbah Museum, stroll the medina, and see Cape Spartel, where the Atlantic and Mediterranean meet.
Enjoy the sunset from the coastal promenade.
Overnight: Tangier riad.
Day 2 – Tangier → Tetouan → Chefchaouen
Drive along the scenic Rif Mountains through Tetouan, nicknamed “the White Dove of Morocco.” Continue to Chefchaouen, Morocco’s magical Blue City.
Walk its cobblestone streets, admire blue-washed houses, and unwind in Plaza Uta el-Hammam.

Day 3 – Chefchaouen → Volubilis → Meknes → Fes
Travel south through olive fields to the Roman ruins of Volubilis, a UNESCO site famous for its mosaics. Continue to Meknes, one of Morocco’s imperial cities, to visit Bab Mansour Gate and El Hedim Square, then onward to Fes, Morocco’s oldest cultural center.

Day 4 – Guided Tour of Fes
Spend the day exploring Fes El Bali, the oldest walled city in Morocco. Visit Bou Inania Madrasa, the Chouara Tanneries, Nejjarine Museum, and Royal Palace.
Watch craftsmen making copperware and zellige tiles, then enjoy mint tea overlooking the medina rooftops.

Day 5 – Fes → Ifrane → Ziz Valley → Merzouga (Sahara Desert)
After breakfast, drive south through Ifrane (known as “Little Switzerland”) and Azrou’s Cedar Forest to see Barbary apes. Pass Midelt and descend into the Ziz Valley, with thousands of date palms and ancient kasbahs.

Day 6 – Merzouga Desert Adventure

Day 8 – Dades → Ouarzazate → Aït Ben Haddou
Follow the Road of a Thousand Kasbahs, stopping at rose cooperatives in Kelaat M’Gouna and at the Atlas Film Studios in Ouarzazate.
Visit the UNESCO-listed Aït Ben Haddou Ksar, a desert fortress village made of earth and straw, featured in Gladiator and Game of Thrones.

Day 9 – Aït Ben Haddou → High Atlas Mountains → Marrakech
Cross the Tizi n’Tichka Pass (2,260 m) through the spectacular High Atlas. Arrive in Marrakech by afternoon.
