Day-by-Day Itinerary
Day 1 — Casablanca → Fes
Pickup from your hotel or Casablanca Airport. Visit the Hassan II Mosque, then drive toward Fes, stopping at Rabat for a short city tour (Royal Palace, Hassan Tower, Kasbah Udayas).
Overnight: Riad in Fes El Bali
Day 2 — Explore Fes → Ifrane → Midelt
Morning guided visit of the Fes Medina — Madrasa Bou Inania, tanneries, and artisan workshops. After lunch, travel south via Ifrane (“Little Switzerland”) and the cedar forest of Azrou.
Overnight: Midelt mountain guesthouse
Day 3 — Midelt → Merzouga → Erg Chebbi Desert
Drive through the Ziz Valley to reach the Erg Chebbi dunes near Merzouga. Switch to camels for a sunset trek across golden dunes and dinner beneath Saharan stars.
Overnight: Luxury desert camp (private ensuite tent)
Day 4 — Merzouga → Todra Gorge → Dades Valley → Ouarzazate
Watch sunrise over the dunes, then head to Todra Gorge (towering 300 m cliffs) and the scenic Dades Valley, continuing to Ouarzazate, “the Hollywood of Morocco.”
Overnight: Ouarzazate riad
Day 5 — Ouarzazate → Aït Ben Haddou → Marrakech
Visit the UNESCO-listed Aït Ben Haddou Ksar, then cross the High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n’Tichka Pass toward Marrakech.
Evening arrival, drop-off at your riad or hotel.
