Day 1:Arrive in Fes - Visit Fes with a local Guide)
Upon arriving in Fes, our driver will be waiting for you in front of the Airport. Then, start the 7-day Morocco trip from Fes. The journey begins with a guided exploration of Fes Medina, led by a knowledgeable local guide who unveils the city’s secrets and historical treasures. The narrow, winding streets of the UNESCO-listed Fes el-Bali (Old Medina) come to life with vibrant markets, traditional crafts, and the distinctive aroma of spices.
The guide will offer you an insight into the city’s fascinating history, including its role as the cultural and intellectual heart of Morocco. From the iconic Bounania Madrasa to the bustling tanneries and the lively Bab Boujloud gate, every step reveals the intricate tapestry of Fes’ past and present. Day 2:Fes - Chefchaouen
Today, we will head towards the blue city of Chefchaouen through the Rif Mountains. On our way, we will have short stops to break up the 4H drive. Upon arrival in the city of Chefchaouen, you will have free time to discover the best places to visit, eat, and see.
Firstly, take a stroll through the streets and alleyways of Medina to explore the whitewashed walls and beautiful blue buildings and doors. Then wander through the old town market. We will also stop in the main square of Chefchaouen. Furthermore, you will have the chance to see the Ras Elma River, which flows through the old city. Overnight stay in the Chefchaouen.
Day 3:Chefchaouen - Volubilis - Meknes - Cedar Forest - Midelt
We will start the third day of our 7 Days in Morocco tour from Fes through the diverse landscapes of Morocco. Begin your journey on the enchanting blue-hued streets of Chefchaouen, where the Rif Mountains provide a stunning backdrop. Traverse to the ancient Roman ruins of Volubilis, immersing yourself in the rich history of this archaeological gem.
We will continue to Meknes, a city adorned with imperial grandeur, exploring its historical treasures such as Bab Mansour and the Mausoleum of Moulay Ismail. Journey southward, passing through the stunning Cedar Forest, home to Barbary macaques and awe-inspiring vistas. Conclude your day in the mountain town of Midelt, nestled in the heart of the middle Atlas range. Overnight stay in a Hotel.
Day 4:Midelt - Ziz valley - Erfoud - Merzouga Desert (Camel ride & night in a desert camp)
Our journey begins in the Middle Atlas Mountains, where you’ll have the chance to take advantage of fantastic photo opportunities, we will cross the scenic drive through the Tizi n Talghamt Pass, leading to Errachidia and the awe-inspiring Ziz Valley Gorge. Marvel at the stunning landscapes.
As we venture through the Erg Chebbi sand dunes, our final destination awaits. Upon arrival at the Sahara desert town. You will begin your camel trekking adventure through the Merzouga Desert dunes. Together, we’ll traverse the desert on camelback, heading to the Merzouga desert camp, where you will have the chance to capture an outstanding sunset from the middle of the dunes. Once you arrive at the camp, a delicious meal and a night beneath the starlit sky await you.
Day 5:Merzouga desert - Rissani - Todra Gorges - Dades valley
The sunrise over the Erg Chebbi sand dunes will be spectacular, so be sure to get up early to see it. After a morning meal and shower at the desert camp, you’ll be returned to Merzouga Village by camel or 4×4. We’ll get in the car and head to Rissani, where we’ll check out a fossil museum and stroll around the town’s historic market.
The journey then continues on to many more Berber villages, including Mellab, Tinjdad, and Jourf, a village that is famous for its ancient irrigation wells. We’ll next move on to Todra Valley and the towering 300-meter-tall canyons of the Todra gorges. The force of the water may indeed find its way between the cracks in the rocks. We will have a walk inside the gorge, then continue to Dades Valley where we will spend the 5th day of our 7 Days desert tour from Fes.
Day 6:Dades valley - Ouarzazate - High Atlas Mounatains - Marrakech
Today, we will drive Ouarzazate through Roses Valley. Moreover, you will have the chance to see the Skoura Oasis and Amridil Kasbah. On our arrival to Ouarzazate, we will drive around 27 km on the road, and we will reach Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, a UNESCO World Heritage site. It has been used as a backdrop for shooting numerous Hollywood Movies including“Lawrence of Arabia”, “Gladiator”, “Kingdom of Heaven”, “Prince of Persia” and much more… The Kasbahs (fortresses) reflect the Exotic Moroccan architecture & culture. After exploring the kasbah, we will continue a little further on the High Atlas Mountains through the “Tichka Pass” which will lead us to Marrakech.
Day 7:Marrakech Guided Tour & Airport transfer
On our last day, if your departure flight is in the afternoon, you will have a chance to explore Marrakech. The Marrakech Guided Tour, where every step unveils the city’s vibrant tapestry. Led by a Marrakech local guide, traverse the narrow alleys of the UNESCO-listed Medina, immersing yourself in the sights and sounds of traditional markets. Explore iconic landmarks like the Koutoubia Mosque and delve into the rich history of the Saadian Tombs. Wander through lively souks, discover hidden gems, and witness the dynamic atmosphere of Djemaa el-Fna square. The tour extends to the serene Majorelle Garden, a botanical haven of cobalt-blue structures and exotic flora.
