The Ultimate 7-Day Morocco Tour From Casablanca Itinerary:

Day 1:Casablanca - Rabat

Depending on when your flight arrives, we’ll be there to greet you at Casablanca Airport, and that’s when our 7 days tour from Casablanca begins. Following that, we’ll have an opportunity to explore the Hassan II Mosque. Afterward, we’ll continue our journey to the city of Rabat, where you’ll stay overnight.

Today, our journey begins with a city tour of Rabat, which encompasses a ride along the Royal Palace walls and visits to the Mausoleums of Mohammad V and Hassan II. You’ll also get a chance to explore the old walled city and the enchanting Oudayas Kasbah on your own. Afterward, we’ll set off for the blue pearl “Chefchaouen,” about a 5-hour drive away. Upon arrival in Chefchaouen, you’ll have the opportunity to explore the old Medina, Outa-el-Hamma Square, the Jewish Quarter, and numerous artisan shops, restaurants, and cafes. You’ll have free time to enjoy, relax, and dine as you wish. Your overnight accommodation will be in a hotel.

After a tasty breakfast in the riad, our tour goes on towards Fes for around 4H drive, once we arrive there, you will have a guided day tour of Fes, where you will walk through the walled streets and watch the daily procession of mourners entering the tomb of Fez founder Moulay Idriss II. The Medina of Fez was founded in the 9th century and is home to the oldest university in the world. Spend the day exploring the old city, visiting, Mederassa Bou Inania, the tanneries, and the splendid Funduk Nejjarine, a beautifully restored 18th-century inn. You will have also a chance to explore the Tanneries, Ceramic factories, … and much more. Overnight stay in Fes at an authentic Riad.

On the fourth leg of our 7-day desert tour from Casablanca, we’ll head towards the Sahara, with a visit to several fascinating attractions. Our journey begins in Ifrane, often referred to as the “Moroccan Switzerland.” We’ll make a stop at the Cedar forest to watch monkeys playing in the treetops. Continuing south, we’ll traverse the extensive palm groves and oasis towns of the Ziz Valley in southern Morocco, which can be reached via the Middle Atlas Mountains. Our next destination is Erfoud, renowned for its fossil museums and date production.

Upon reaching the Merzouga Desert, we’ll set out on a camel ride to witness the breathtaking sunset over the Erg Chebbi sand dunes. After the sunset, we’ll enjoy a delightful dinner and spend the night in the heart of the Sahara desert at a luxurious Merzouga desert camp, beneath the beautifully clear and starry sky. Following dinner, we’ll partake in the festivities of a Berber party, accompanied by rhythmic drum beats, and spend the night there.

Today, get up early in order to observe the sunrise over the Erg Chebbi dunes. After breakfast and a shower at the desert camp, you’ll ride a camel or 4×4 back to Merzouga Village. We’ll board our car and drive to Rissani, where we’ll explore the town and its old market.

The tour continues through several further Berber settlements, including as Mellab, Tinjdad, and Jourf, a village renowned for its historic irrigation wells. Todra Valley and its magnificent 300-meter-tall canyons will be our next destination. Indeed, the power of the water does push its way through the fissures in the rocks. We will have a walk inside the gorge, then continue to Dades Valley where we will spend the overnight stay.

After breakfast, a visit to the Dades Gorges and a short walk there are scheduled. Back at the car, the trip to Ouarzazate continues. From here, we continue through the Valley of the Roses, famous for its Rose Festival in May. Cosmetics and toiletry items are produced and valued throughout the country. In Skoura and the oasis there, Kasbah Amredhil waits for a very worthwhile visit. The kasbah has been beautifully restored and gives a clear idea of life within such housing. It is made entirely of adobe, an excellent building material; warm in winter and cool in summer, due to the thickness of the walls. 45 minutes later, you reach Ouarzazate, where you will visit the Atlas Studio & have a small visit to Fint Oasis, then come back and spend the night in a guest house in Ouarzazate.

After visiting Ouarzazate we will drive around 27 km of the road, and we will reach Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, a UNESCO World Heritage site. It has been used as a backdrop for shooting numerous Hollywood Movies including “Lawrence of Arabia”, “Gladiator”, “Kingdom of Heaven”, “Prince of Persia” and much more… The Kasbahs (fortresses) reflect the Exotic Moroccan architecture & cultures. After exploring the kasbah, we will continue a little further on High Atlas Mountains through the “Tichka pass” which will lead us to Marrakech, where our 7 Days Morocco Tour itinerary ends.
