Day-by-Day Itinerary

Day 1 – Arrival in Fes

Meet your driver at the airport and settle into your riad.
Enjoy an evening stroll through Fes El Bali, Morocco’s oldest medina.
Overnight: Riad in Fes.

After breakfast, explore Fes, the intellectual capital of Morocco.
Visit the Royal Palace Gates, Kairaouine University, Bou Inania Madrasa, and the vibrant tanneries.
Afternoon free to wander the souks or relax in a traditional hammam.
Overnight: Riad in Fes.

Depart south through the Middle Atlas Mountains. Stop in Ifrane, the “Little Switzerland” of Morocco, then in the Cedar Forest of Azrou to see Barbary apes.
Continue via Midelt and the Ziz Valley oases to reach Merzouga, gateway to the Sahara.
Camel ride into the Erg Chebbi dunes at sunset and enjoy a traditional dinner with live music under the stars.
Overnight: Luxury Sahara camp (ensuite tent).

Spend the day discovering the Sahara by 4×4 and on foot:

  • Visit Khamlia Village for live Gnawa music.

Cross the High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n’Tichka Pass (2,260 m), stopping for panoramic views and Berber villages.
Arrive in Marrakech by late afternoon. Explore Jemaa el-Fnaa Square and its vibrant street performers and food stalls.
Overnight: Riad in Marrakech.

Morning guided tour of Bahia Palace, Saadian Tombs, Koutoubia Mosque, and Majorelle Gardens.
Transfer to Marrakech or Casablanca airport for departure.
