Our trip to Volubilis is a chance to see ancient Roman remains and learn about the cultural heritage of Morocco. After that, we’ll visit bab el Mansour and have lunch in Meknes, a city that dates back to the 17th century and is rich in history. Today, you will have a local guide to start exploring the oldest city in Morocco “Fes“. First, by walking through its alleys and narrow streets. Our tour begins with a visit to the Royal Palace gate, the Jewish quarter, and the first Mellah ever constructed in Morocco, which was constructed in the 16th century. Consequently, we will ensure that you visit all culturally and historically significant sites, such as the renowned Al Qaraouine University, the oldest in the region, the Tanneries, the Attarine museum, and the Mulay Idriss mausoleum. Then, following lunch, you will travel to the tile cooperative. Then, enjoy a breathtaking panorama of the entire Medina of Fes.

Today, we’ll be on our way to the Sahara. Along the way, we’ll stop at a lot of interesting places, like Ifrane, which is known as “Moroccan Switzerland.” We’ll stop at the Cedar forest to watch the monkeys swinging from tree to tree. Then, go south through the Middle Atlas Mountains and the large palm groves and oasis towns of the Ziz valley in southern Morocco. Then keep going to Erfoud, which is famous for its fossil museums and dates.

When we get to the Merzouga Desert, we’ll go on a camel ride and see the magical sunset over the erg Chebbi sand dunes. After the sun goes down, we’ll have dinner and spend the night in the middle of the Sahara desert in Morocco at a luxury desert camp in Merzouga. The sky will be clear and full of stars. After dinner, we’ll have fun at a Berber party with drums, and we’ll stay there for the night.

The sunrise over the Erg Chebbi sand dunes will be amazing, so be sure to get up early to see it. After breakfast and a shower in the morning at the desert camp, you’ll ride a camel or 4×4 back to Merzouga Village. We’ll get in the car and drive to Rissani, where we’ll visit a fossil museum and walk around the town’s old market.

The trip then goes to many more Berber villages, such as Mellab, Tinjdad, and Jourf, which is known for their old irrigation wells. The next place we’ll go is Todra valley, which has 300-meter-tall canyons called Todra gorges. If the water is strong enough, it may get through the cracks in the rocks. We’ll take a walk through the gorge and then head to Dades valley.

Its beautiful landscapes have been used in many Hollywood movies, such as “Lawrence of Arabia,” “Gladiator,” “Kingdom of Heaven,” “Prince of Persia,” and many more. Kasbahs, which are palaces with walls around them, show how different Morocco’s architecture and culture are.  After a walking tour to the Kasbah, we’ll drive through the “Tichka pass” in the High Atlas Mountains until we reach Marrakech.

Today is all about getting to know Marrakech. We will visit “the beautiful Red City of Marrakech,” where we can spend the whole day. First, Marrakech is an old city in Morocco that was once the capital. The name “Share of God” comes from the Berber language. Before Youssef Ben Tachafine built it, it was a small village of farmers. Youssef Ben Tachafine was a Berber king of the Almoravid dynasty, and his grave is a good place to learn more about his life.
